Hi everyone, as part of our 15th Anniversary Celebration, we’re updating The Bard’s Tale with a new Remastered and Resnarkled Edition. This will be the new standard edition of the game. For those of you who already own The Bard’s Tale, no worries! Your version will be updated automatically for free!

You play as the titular Bard, a roguish, manipulative and lewd songster hose priorities in life are the acquisition of material wealth and carnal pleasures. The Bard’s pretty sarcastic by nature, but you get to decide just how scathing he is by selecting ‘Nice’ or ‘Sarky’ responses. Watch out you don’t get too cocky though; folk you’ve upset may come back to haunt you. During his raucous adventures, the Bard recruits a motley band of eccentrics and misfits to help in his ignoble cause. Enemies can be defeated using traditional or magical weapons and you can also use the Bard’s dulcet tones to summon creatures. If you’re tired of saving humankind or bored of games that take themselves a bit too seriously, The Bard’s Tale could very well be for you.

The Bard’s Tale Remastered & Resnarkled features the following updates:

• Updated splash screen and app icon.

• Runs at highest desktop resolution by default without bringing up the Graphics settings app.

• Graphics settings app updated to no longer incorporate legacy language settings. Instead, the Steam specified language is used which is the preferred method.

• Full Steam overlay support (Shift + Tab).

• Steam achievements & trading cards.

• Additional language support for Italian.

• 64 bit OS’s no longer crash at startup.
